The Guidance of the Saints: A Discourse in Delhi
Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj delivered his first satsang of 2020 in India at Kirpal Bagh, Delhi this afternoon. Against the backdrop of the stage that announced the organization’s slogan for the year – Meditate Plenty in 2020 – he wished all a Happy New Year. Then, drawing from a few verses of Sant Darshan Singh Ji Maharaj and Kabir Sahib, he spoke of the spiritual path and reminded everyone of the boundless love and constant guidance and protection of the saints.
We need help and guidance at every stage of our life, said the spiritual Master. From the time we are born, to the time we leave this world, we receive guidance through parents, teachers, colleagues, friends, spouses, and others. Gradually, we come to realize the transient nature of all our earthly relationships and find ourselves alone. God is our only true and eternal friend, remaining with us always. To experience the eternal love of God, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji said, we need the help and guidance of a spiritual adept. Adepts can teach us the technique of meditation and connect us to the divine Light and Sound of God. They guide us step-by-step on the inner journey so that we can discover our true nature and move steadily toward realizing our oneness with God.
