Today, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj addressed the global audience gathered online for the 33rd Global Meditation in Place. He spoke of the great task ahead of each of us as we work to fulfill the purpose for which we have come into this world, offering reassurance and a blueprint for how we can ensure success.
When we take on monumental projects, when we want to do things that appear unattainable at first, we can accomplish them if we do them little by little, he said. To attain the lofty goal of knowing our selves and finding our connection with the Creator, we need to sit in silence. Through the technique of meditation, we realize our true nature as soul, and as the soul embarks on the inner spiritual journey, it connects with the Light of God within. Regions of love, Light and bliss open for us as we connect with God, the source of all peace, joy, bliss, and happiness. As we experience the peace that resides within us, we also begin to radiate this peace to those around us.
It all begins, said Sant Rajinder Singh Ji, as we take small steps, little by little, to sit in silence each day and still our minds. Daily, we also take small steps to inculcate ethical virtues in our lives. Step-by-step, we lay the bricks of daily meditation and ethical living to build a strong foundation that will help us fulfill the goal for which we were sent to this world. Little by little, he said, we can achieve the supreme goal of finding our oneness with God.
