Meditation—The Way to Eternal Peace and Unity

The 36th International Human Unity Conference is held in February each year to commemorate the life and message of Sant Kirpal Singh Ji Maharaj (1894-1974). The conference brings faith leaders and foreign delegates together on a common platform of peace and unity. This year, the venue was Sant Darshan Singh Ji Dham in Burari, Delhi, and the two-day program began on February 22, 2025.
In his keynote address, which marked the inauguration of the conference, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj spoke of Sant Kirpal Singh Ji’s timeless vision. He was the founding President of the World Fellowship of Religions and the Human Unity Conference, and his message of “Be Good. Do Good. Be One.” encapsulates the true meaning of life.
Sant Rajinder Singh Ji explained how, despite our outer differences, we are all connected through the silken thread of divine love. We all have a part of God within us. As human beings enamored by the pulls and attractions of this world, we often remain unaware of this reality. However, as we meditate and go within, we recognize our oneness at the level of the soul and awaken to this divine truth. We need to meditate daily and diligently to make swift progress toward the supreme goal of God-realization.
Following this address, faith leaders and Western delegates shared their views. They unanimously emphasized the importance of meditation and unity in today’s world, highlighting how these two key tenets of spirituality pave the way to a life of love and harmony.
