Beyond Body and Mind: Nurture the Soul

This evening at Kirpal Bagh in Delhi, Sant Rajinder Singh Ji Maharaj spoke of the importance of nourishing the soul to attain life’s supreme purpose of God-realization. As modern life progresses and new innovations continue to improve the quality of life, we place greater emphasis on living longer, healthier lives. This growing awareness drives us to eat nutritious foods, get quality sleep, and exercise regularly. While these efforts help us achieve physical and mental health, the most crucial aspect of well-being is spiritual health.
How can we replenish and restore the well-being of our soul? What does our soul need? The spiritual Master said our soul is a part of God and gains strength as it experiences closeness to God. Through meditation, we can experience the love and Light of God within.
Sant Rajinder Singh Ji explained that we attain true wellness as the soul reconnects with the Divine in meditation. As our soul is nourished, our physical and mental health also improves. For this to happen, we should meditate daily and diligently, helping our soul undertake a journey of bliss, ultimately attaining optimal wellness.
